About Us
Strait Gate Ministries is a Christian organization that was founded by singer and musician Gloria Nambi with her family and friends in Mukono district. The organization which was first founded to reach out to adult and elderly people in Ugandan communities later grew to become one of the leading Christian organizations in East Africa which offers people the opportunity to minister and reach out to the grassroots people.
The organization's core operations were originally based on the funds collected from the members but with the use of the internet and social networking, we have been able to grow our community all over the world.
While we receive donations and support, a lot of our funding also comes from other programs like; gospel tourism where we attract tourists, especially from Europe and America to sign up for some of our planned or custom programs.
We remain true to that founding vision – developing the character of Christ in our daily lives through charity and ministry.
